I often have discussions with colleagues, friends, and my partner about the use of AI in our personal and professional lives. Beyond the apparent feats of AI and the amazement they evoke, I am always fascinated and surprised by the words used to describe these experiences. Invariably, people refer to AI behaviors as if they were human behaviors, such as the notions of interpretation and understanding, even though we must remember that AI doesn't understand anything at all.
