I'm wondering if I should cancel my OpenAI subscription since the release of ChatGPT 4o. They made it hard for us to decide what is the difference with or without a subscription. It's just not obvious. Tell me if you know.
Speaking of generative AI: it will be fascinating to see how Apple will play their cards at the upcoming WWDC conference. We're less than a month away to know it all. My guess is that they will play the same card they did with Google for Search by partnering with OpenAI for cloud-based prompts, but also by adopting smaller models for running on-device for some prompts.
I'm trying to figure out if I could or should use Apple Finder's tags to tag my photos in my workflow. I could use tags like "ToProcess", "Processed" and "Shared". I asked people on Micro.blog if this is something they do but got no response.
